UPL provides quality pharmaceutical formulations in capsules and liquids dosage forms. UPL manufactures unique Amino Acid based formulations to latest pre and probiotics, one of the emerging therapeutic segment and several other generic preparations to meet the needs of various markets. These products are currently being exported to various South East Asian and African countries.

Spread its wings to CIS and Middle Eastern countries with existing product range and enter into manufacturing and marketing of herbal formulations using ancestral wisdom and latest technologies.
In the quest to graze the knowledge-based industry, Universal Pharmaceuticals Limited (Universal) has embarked into manufacturing and marketing of innovative herbal formulations as a safer alternative to synthetic products and chemicals that have iatrogenic effects. Keeping this philosophy in mind, Universal launched its herbal range through its division “INNOVEDA”.
Universal believes that with its expertise in manufacturing quality allopathic formulation, a leaf can be taken out and utilized to amalgamate Nature and Science. Today, Universal proudly acclaim that it could convert yesterday’s dream into today’s reality and ostentatiously unveils Innoveda’s product range consisting of 11 poly herbal and 26 single herbal formulations.
Since quality is the soul of our organization, it is worth mentioning that one of the leaders of the industry has tied up with UPL for a co-marketing arrangement. This is an ample evidence of our strength in R&D and expertise in delivering what we promise.
Our administrative and marketing office is located in Chennai whereas the plant, having WHO GMP, SGS GMP and ISO 9001:2000 certifications, is situated in Pondicherry , an erstwhile French colony on the shores of the Bay of Bengal .
